Brimridge is a beautiful private nature reserve in the making, a couple of miles north of Loddiswell. The owners have kindly given us permission to visit, it is not usually open to the public and there is no public footpath, so this is a unique opportunity for W.A.L. members to visit. Lynne Kenderdine of Devon Wildlife Trust's Avon Valley Project has very kindly offered to lead this walk. It is 50 acres of grassland with steep terrain in places, so you need to have a reasonable level of fitness and mobility and to wear stout foot wear. Numbers are limited, so please be sure to sign up first. Meet at 6.30pm at Brimridge for 6.45pm start. No dogs please at the request of the owners to protect the wildlife. Please email wildaboutloddiswell@outlook.com if you would like to come and we will send you full directions.
