All are welcome, we do hope you can join us!
Kelvin Boot has been giving us advice on the old parish churchyard, he is a local naturalist who has written hundreds of articles and five books on wildlife. He has made hundreds of programmes for the BBC Natural History Unit in Bristol, mostly on Radio 4 where he was a special correspondent for Radio 4's flagship Natural History programme, Saving Species and other series, for many years. He began his career as Curator of Natural History at the RAM museum in Exeter and was the Director of the National Marine Aquarium. He has worked for the UK and Scottish Governments, the EU and many other scientific bodies. He is still writing and spends some of his time encouraging churches to nurture and enhance the wildlife that visits churchyards.
We'll also be showing a video of all the lovely photos and videos you've posted on this page in 2023, which will be a great round up of the year. There will be a list of contributors, I'm assuming permission as they have already been made public, but please let me know if you do not want your photos to be included.
